On 22-24 September 2005, the CIDEL consortium held its concluding conference "Law and Democracy in Europe’s Post-National Constellation".
The conference was hosted by the European University Institute in Florence.
This report contains the proceedings of the conference.

At the conference, analyses of the European polity as a rights-based post-national union, which has oriented the work in CIDEL was complemented by reflections on “Europe’s unfinished agenda”. This turned out to be a thought-provoking and rewarding combination – as the reader of this report will realize.
