| This comment addresses aspects of the relationship between trade liberalisation and labour protection and discusses the Viking, Laval and Rüffert judgements of the ECJ in the light of the GATS. It concludes that competitiveness as a key concept of liberalisation in the EU and WTO contexts should be determined by economic factors and not by differences of the regulatory frameworks. |
